Bio
Associated professor of chemical engineering since 1998. He graduated in industrial chemistry from the University of Barcelona at Tarragona in 1986, and received his doctorate degree in chemistry from the same University in 1992. He worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada) during 1993, and as associate researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Denver (CO, USA) from 1994 to 1995. His current research focuses on the thermochemical and catalytic conversion of biomass into intermediate platform chemicals, liquid fuels, synthetic natural gas, and hydrogen.
