Bio
He graduated in Chemistry in 1978 from Universitat de Barcelona. His PhD (1984, Universitat de Barcelona) was about mass transfer in turbulent flow under the supervision of Professor Francesc Giralt. Since 1992 has served at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. As postdoc, he has worked with Professor Yoram Cohen from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1992, 1996 and 2004. His research activity has focused on the development of mathematical models and numerical simulation in systems involving transport phenomena, such us mass transfer in turbulent flows, transport of water and pollutants in the underground unsaturated zone, and electrospray dynamics.
