Bio
Marta Giamberini (Naples, 1966) graduated in Chemistry at the University of Naples "Federico II" in 1990. Then, she worked as research fellow in the National Research Council (1991-1993). She completed her PhD in Materials Technology and Industrial Plants at the University of Naples "Federico II" in 1996. Afterwards, she held a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Materials and Production Engineering at the University of Naples "Federico II". From 1999 to 2005 she was Researcher in the Institute for Composite and Biomedical Materials of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). Since 2005 she is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering where she is currently leading the research group MEMTEC (Materials, Membrane and Encapsulation Technology).
